Why Home Daycare?
Children are overjoyed to come to Thompson's Leading Center everyday because of our fun and interactive curriculum, structured recess and many other fun activities. Our home daycare gives a more comfortable dynamic atmosphere that the children are used to such as living spaces, kitchen, play areas, backyard, bathrooms, bedrooms and more. There is a smaller ratio which allows for a better opportunity to bond & have one on one time. This allows for a more trusting relationship allowing the child to have less anxiety. In this instance the child is also exposed to fewer illnesses.
Staff
The staff makes sure the children are safe and well behaved at all times. They design crafts and projects for the children to complete in which are all learning experiences. They provide meals and snacks which are well balanced. Daycare providers and assistants are CPR certified, have maximum experience, good physical stamina, people skills, good communication, and on going training.
Learn through Play
Our establishment believes in the learn through play method which allows the child to make sense of the world around them. They are able to develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. Essentially they will learn assertiveness, cooperation skills and sharing methods. These qualities will be helpful for developing friendships and leadership rolls.
Creativity
All children need the opportunity to be creative. This is what allows the child to put forth effort to be themselves. Their act of self expression and and processing becomes different from most children in their age range. They begin to tap into their feelings and allow what's in the inner them to flow. We also allow free time. This gives children the opportunity to use their imagination and creative thinking skills at free will which develops character and personality.
